    Too much SKUs, configurable over-provision would be nice, and not all that hard to implement.

    The 9200 does have the same "FlexPro" firmware feature set as the 5100 series allowing for configurable OP, but they also want to directly advertise the high-performance/high-endurance configurations for sale.

    The endurance on the ECO had me confused until I realized that the drive sizes were much larger so the overall write endurance is indeed lower for a given size of drive.

    Hmm.... I wonder if you can RAID two of the HHHL cards together through hardware instead of software. I'm not sure if the Intel C226 (or the latest Intel Xeon chipset) supports hardware RAID on PCIe cards.

    You can, but only with Intel nvme DC ssds. I've had bad luck on the 200 series xeon, but it working well on my 600 series.
