This is... Markedly a different look for Fractal cases, normally known for subdued and refined case design. I'm not exactly a fan, but this is the way the market trends are going, so... You gotta do what you can to compete in the market, I suppose.
Still looks better than like their old Core 1000 or Core 3000 designs/model's. Mesh front panels is nothing new from Fractal. For 50 USD cases they look pretty balanced. Should fit large coolers too.
As far as I can tell they're pretty similar, save for the LED lights in the fans. I'm not a big fan of LED lights as I don't want a Christmas tree so I prefer closed cases that don't let light leak out... too much.
Regardless I can understand there's a market for this. I just hope they hang on to their other designs and don't "migrate" everything to this type.
I don't keep tabs on every Fractal case that has come into the market, but as far as I know, this is the first I've seen with LED fans or offered in bold red or blue case colors.
The mesh, acrylic side-panels, and the internal layouts are very familiar to other cases in Fractal's lineup.
Those are some nicely laid out cases for $50, especially coming with two fans and multiple filters. Cable management looks decent as well. Definitely competes with Corsairs' offering at the same price.
New cases from Fractal is good news, but I was hoping we'd instead start seeing Tempered Glass refreshes of already-popular and excellent cases like the Define series. Maybe Computex...
I'm not seeing any front USB ports in the provided photos: "front I/O panel that includes one USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, and two audio jacks". The top of the case isn't pictured. Maybe those USB ports are located there?

Looks more or less like their previous budget cases. Any how they got plenty of other stuff they offer.close - Friday, May 26, 2017 - link
I hope case design in general doesn't go in this direction. I like their classic designs better.Penti - Friday, May 26, 2017 - link

With a name like "Focus G", I was hoping they would be cases for standing graphics cards. Honestly we need more of those.vailr - Thursday, May 25, 2017 - link
