Just under four years ago, Arm announced their Neoverse family of infrastructure CPU designs. Deciding to double-down on the server and edge computing markets by designing Arm CPU cores specifically for those markets – and not just recycling the consumer-focused Cortex-A designs – Arm set about tackling the infrastructure market in a far more aggressive manner.
