Yesterday we announced that we'd be doing our first (technically second) live mobile show tonight at 7PM ET. We're now just over 1.5 hours away from going live. I'll update this post with an embed of the stream for those who want to watch it live. For everyone else we'll be pushing it out to our YouTube channel as soon as it's done. I've heard the requests to toss it in the podcast stream as well, which we should be able to do but that'll come a little later.
Brian and I will be talking about the following on the show later tonight:
The iPad Air
Investigations into Apple's A7 and Cyclone CPU Architecture
ASUS Transformer Book T100 & Retail Bay Trail
A Discussion of 64-bit in Mobile
The Haswell MacBook Pros
HTC's One Max
Brian's Initial Thoughts on Google's Nexus 5
On at least a couple of these topics we'll be disclosing details for the first time before ever appearing in written content on the site. This is a new format for us, but if we can get enough support both from you all and potential sponsors it won't be the last.
Check back here at 7PM ET for the live stream.
Update: We are done, check it out below:

You can get Google play edition in north american markets, but not in many other countries. Still a big deal for a lot of people.daos - Tuesday, November 5, 2013 - link

I just missed watching it live, so I can't comment much on that, but I really like the video format. I'm not sure how much of a pain it would be to do, but having a downloadable version of the video would be nice to if possible.speconomist - Wednesday, November 6, 2013 - link

Maybe I'm in the minority here so others chime I am but please please please, can we get stuff written first? This YouTube era has made finding things impossible on the Internet without skimming through a video somehow.
I only care about maybe 50% of the things in the video, but now would have to watch or seek through the YouTube video (which can be used finicky) rather than just click the pages of the article I want to read.
This becoming a norm would be a real downer for me if it doesn't come in a written form which is generally what happens on a lot of sites.
Especially when I'm browsing on my phone like I am now and don't want to watch a video because it's just that much harder to skip around a video on your phone.

Especially at over 2 hours long. I mean, I like anandtech, but between all of the TV/other things I there to watch online, 2 hours is a huge time commitment. While I find everything that is in this video interesting, there just is no way I'll sit there for 2 hours, when I could read something instead and have my reading pace dictate how long I sit there rather than your speaking pace.
Just my 2 (or 4 cents), but well, the masses decide so I won't be surprised if this is just another thing that youtube has absorbed. Just sucks though but it is what it is I guess.

I don't quite get this comment. It will appear in written form soon enough, so why do you *have* to scrub through the video so intently?I would like to see an audio only version though. I like seeing you guys and Brian lifting the phones up is nice, but I like audio podcasts more than video, generally. Here someone is going to tell me to use some website to do it for me, but I'm just asking Anand for a direct download.

I really really enjoy the fact that we can see y'alls faces when you talk. It helps me understand exactly what you're saying and absorb it rather than having to backtrack 30 seconds in podcasts atleast 3-4 times. I hope this format becomes more popular with you guys and maybe bring on more of the writers like Ian and vivek and jarred.blenderben - Tuesday, November 5, 2013 - link
any chance you guys will do a full on review of the top end haswell macbook pro? similar to the review earlier in the year?augustofretes - Tuesday, November 5, 2013 - link
I would really appreciate an audio-only version :)
